Kurtis Gilliat graduated from Brigham Young University with degrees in economics and mathematics, and with a minor in psychology. As an undergraduate, he studied the effects of air pollution on cardiovascular and cancer mortality. He also worked on a project examining the effects of education on mortality by several different diseases. At CEHD, Kurtis is especially excited to draw on both psychology and economics in researching the effects of early childhood interventions.
In his free time, Kurtis enjoys playing tennis, rock climbing, and listening to podcasts.
