Eleanor graduated from Penn State University in 2017 with a B.S. in Economics and a B.S. in Political Science, and in 2018 received an M.A. in Economics from Yale University. Her research interests include education, development, and public policy. Her honors thesis analyzed the relationship between migrant education and propensity to remit. She also worked on projects studying labor market outcomes and fertility patterns in sub-Saharan Africa. At CEHD, she hopes to explore the role of family and school environments in skill formation.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, hiking, and photography.
