Associate Director for Initiatives
As Associate Director, Valorie focuses on building collaborative relationships between CEHD’s initiatives and institutional partners in the US and abroad. She works closely with the initiative’s principle investigators to set strategic goals within the initiatives, as well as identify new partnerships for continued growth. Valorie also assists in the implementation of new and existing programs, including the development of conferences and summer schools for CEHD’s largest initiative the Human Capital and Economic Opportunity Global Working Group. Her focus is concentrated on strategically growing CEHD’s initiatives in order to reach a wider demographic with the research being produced by their members.
Prior to joining CEHD Valorie worked for a multinational commercial real estate firm as an Associate Property Manager, and served as the Director of Philanthropy for the company’s Future Leaders group, helping to organize large scale ‘Corporate Give Back’ events which raised in excess of $60,000 each year.
Valorie graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a B.A in international business and has an M.A in business management from Harvard University.
