Alex ben Hassine

Predoctoral Fellow

Alex ben Hassine graduated from SOAS University of London in 2020, with an M.Sc. in International Development. In his dissertation, Alex studied the role of financial asset-based income in determining the South Korean income distribution. His current research interests encompass the relationship between inequality and processes of (human) capital formation.

Alex holds an M.Sc. in Theoretical Physics, a B.Sc. in Mathematics, and a B.Sc. in Physics and Astronomy from Utrecht University. Prior to joining the CEHD, Alex worked as a back-end software developer in the educational technology sector.
