Janelle Jefferson is an Administrative Assistant at the Center for the Economics of Human Development. She helps create new processes to organize invitations and event details, plan business travel logistics, and monitor and process emails. In addition, she supports the Center and HCEO by purchasing supplies, entering data and creating reports in salesforce, organizing research assistant applications, and providing backup support for administrative staff.
Prior to joining the Center, Janelle worked as an office manager and in administrative positions in both higher education and the private sector. She was also a buyer, manager, and nutritional sales consultant in the health and nutrition industry.
Janelle graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with a B.A. in Liberal Sciences & Arts and earned an M.S. in Traditional East Asian Medicine and DACM (Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine) from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.
In her spare time, Janelle enjoys attending theater performances, walking on the beach, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
