Emily Lewis is the Operations Director at the Center for the Economics of Human Development. She works closely with the center\u2019s senior leadership to support and enhance emerging research through establishing operational standards and strategic direction, and overseeing the center\u2019s financial, grant and contract, and human resources administration.<\/p>\n

Emily was a Latin teacher for 15 years before finding her way into university administration. A native of Boston, she taught in the Boston area and then in Virginia and worked in operations at a DC area university before heading out to Chicago. She holds a B.A. from Bryn Mawr College and an M.A. from Boston University.<\/p>\n

In her free time, Emily can be found singing, baking, or running around with her husband and their 3 dogs.<\/p>\n
