CEHD Director James J. Heckman will be presenting “Giving Kids a Fair Chance: A Business Strategy That Works” on Thursday, November 19 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM CST. The event, co-sponsored by the Greater Milwaukee Foundation, Milwaukee Succeeds, and the Medical College of Wisconsin Institute for Health & Equity, will be conducted via webinar.

In this conversation, Professor Heckman will elaborate on the critical importance of high-quality early childhood education and how the business community can best support the sector. In the midst of the pandemic, investing in early childhood education is particularly crucial, as nearly one-third of our community providers have closed.
