Amedeus Akira Dsouza earned his M.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago in 2024 and an Honours B.A. in Economics with High Distinction from the University of British Columbia in 2021. He has worked with research teams at the Center for the Economics of Human Development and the Becker Friedman Institute’s Macroeconomic Research Initiative. His work focuses on how labor markets, education, and institutions shape inequality and long-run growth. He is especially interested in connecting careful empirical methods with policy-relevant questions.
