Fiona Corr joins the Creciendo Juntos project as an intern and current student at the Crown Family School for Social of Social Work, Policy, and Practice at the University of Chicago. She holds passion for social justice and is eager to learn a new set of professional skills while putting into practice her interdisciplinary knowledge.

She holds almost a decade of experience working with children in a variety of recreational and educational settings. From more traditional preschools to neurodiverse inclusive summer camps, her background has given her a solid foundation of interpersonal skills with youth of all ages.

She completed her undergraduate degrees at UC Berkeley, finishing with a double major in Society & Environment B.S. and Spanish B.A. As a California girl she is terrified for her first Chicago winter, but has been convinced in a few short weeks that this city is home already. When she’s not at school she enjoys taking and teaching yoga classes, spending time outside, and trying new coffee shops with friends!
