Raul is currently a candidate for the Master of Arts in Public Policy with a Certificate in Research Methods at the Harris School of Public Policy and a Research Assistant at the Center for the Economics of Human Development. In 2022, he earned a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) with First-class Honours in the field of Econometrics from The University of Queensland. He also holds a BEcon with a Major in Quantitative Methods and an Associate degree in Musical Performance. In his Honours thesis, he studied the impact of exceptionally talented or gifted students, ‘superstars,’ in high school classrooms on the short- and long-term outcomes of remaining students by exploiting the quasi-random assignment of students and teachers to classrooms in Greece.
During his free time, Raul enjoys attending concerts, exploring Chicago’s dining establishments, and playing tennis.
