Piyush is a Master of Public Policy student at the University of Chicago, with a background in Mechanical Engineering and experience in defense research in India. Transitioning to economics, he is passionate about exploring the intersection of economics, finance, and data, leveraging computational tools for impactful analysis and insights. Currently, he is focused on research related to the economics of early childhood intervention. Piyush has authored Op-Eds in prominent Indian newspapers and presented policy interventions to the Indian Government.

In his free time, he enjoys tennis, Formula 1, chess, cinema, and is an avid fan of Iron Maiden, other metal legends, and Queen.
