Mariam Raheem is a data specialist working at the intersection of people, technology, and information. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Policy at the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy, with a focus on technology, education, and climate change. With five years of experience in community-based programs, Mariam has a proven track record in creating impactful, tech-driven literacy initiatives. Before joining Harris, she spent over three years at the Center for Economic Research in Pakistan, collaborating with academic and technical teams, to deliver large-scale remedial education programs impacting thousands of primary school (K-5) students and teachers.
Mariam is also deeply committed to climate change advocacy and youth empowerment. She serves on the executive board of the Data, Ethics, and Policy student organization and is a proud Obama Foundation Scholar, focused on creating scalable solutions to bridge educational gaps and enhance women’s leadership in underserved regions.
